Whatever your label printing needs, we're able to handle the entire process, from design to delivery

Pre-Press (Design)

Although most clients prefer to provide artwork created by external designers, we can assist with creative design. We also have extensive marketing knowledge to ensure that your label will effectively sell your product along with label industry standards in sizing, barcode certification and legislation.

Before going to print, the artwork is checked to ensure correct layout, content and colours via electronic high resolution pdf proofs or chromlins for sign off.

Production

Gillco Labels uses world renowned Mark Andy printing presses. Up to 8 Colour UV machines capable of:

  • in-line lamination,
  • cold foiling,
  • UV varnishing,
  • two die cutting stations,
  • 250mm wide capable of printing on all forms of label substrates.

Finishing

Gillco Labels invested in Roto Control RSC series inspection rewinders. The RSC series offers a full suite of standard features in an economical, compact machine, designed to maximize operator efficiency.

Before our clients labels leave our premises each label roll is inspected by our finishing team and inspection cameras on the RSC rewinder.

Delivery

Labels are then packed into boxes to our customers specific requirements and sealed with our security tape and box label making it easy for our clients to identify what is in the box.

The final product is then delivered anywhere in South Africa via our trusted and contracted couriers or by our own delivery vehicles.
